Why Did This YA Rom-Com Author Decide to Defect to Amish?
Amish fiction--tales of maidens in kapps, men in straw hats, and a life lived at a buggy's pace. Or so they say. When Christen Krumm's synopsis of On the Golden Cliffs described a fish-out-of-water story--kind of two of them in one--I knew I had to read it. Listening to her talk about the process by which she auditioned (talk about waiting until the last possible second!) only confirmed that.
Christen Krumm combines a social media influencer with an Amish novelist (shh... no one is supposed to know!) and throws them together. What isn't to love? What could be better?
